How to Set Up Microsoft Authenticator
Step 1: Install the App
- Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- Search for Microsoft Authenticator
- Download and install the application
Step 2: Enable MFA on Your Account
- Log in to your Microsoft 365 account
- Go to: https://aka.ms/mfasetup
- Follow the prompts to set up MFA
- When prompted, choose Microsoft Authenticator app as your verification method

- Scan the QR code using the Authenticator app
- Approve the test notification to complete setup
Step 3: Verification
- Once completed, you will be required to approve a notification or enter a code from the app each time you log in.
